Get Started with Wikipedia!

In this hands-on lunch workshop, you'll learn how to use and contribute to Wikipedia as part of your work at KTH.

You'll create your own Wikipedia account, affiliate it with KTH, and learn how to edit Wikipedia. We'll take a look at key differences between scientific and encyclopedic writing, and how to select sources for Wikipedia. Finally, we give an overview of how PhD students and teachers can use Wikipedia for scientific outreach and education.

This workshop is collaboratively organized by KTH Machine Design, KTH Library and KTH Communications. Everybody who works or studies at KTH can participate!
